the ancient science of yoga

the ancient science and wisdom of Yoga works on every level of the human experience to achieve optimal health and integration of the body, breath, mind and life.

The yoga tradition is very rich, containing a comprehensive knowledge of the body and mind. Anyone can use yoga, regardless of what you believe in or who you are. The methods work precisely and give you access to your own resources. The ancient system has the potential to remedy our imbalances and empower us as individuals to be more sensitive, productive and efficient in the way we think, move and relate in the world.

Learn authentic Yoga from the roots.

We teach a practical approach of yoga that derives its roots from the teachings of the great yoga master Tirumalai Krishnamacharya and his son T. K. V. Desikachar. The teachings are a subtle and strong tantra system of breath informed integrated movement, bandha and meditation that seamlessly connects you to the present moment. The hallmark of this lineage is that yoga must be adapted for each individual.

It is our mission to share accurate and effective yoga education that respects and honours not only this ancient living tradition, but even more importantly the individual training with us. Our classes range from all ages and levels from first-timers to more serious teachers and practitioners of Yoga.

Our one-on-one mentoring and small classes focus on:
Meditation and mindfulness training + Yoga for the individual + Traditional Vinyasa Krama + The tools of your mind-body-breath system + Free and natural movement + Advanced Breath training + Spinal health and posture + Flexibility and mobility development + Moving meditation + Krishnamacharya’s principles of practice.
