About Master Pedro Sauer

Master Sauer was born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He started training jiu-jitsu at the age of 15, alongside his friend Rickson Gracie, in Rickson's family garage. Heart of Yoga | 200 HR | Teacher Training Ubud, Bali

In a world full of commodified "yoga" and the proliferation of brands and styles, how do we make sure we keep the heart in Yoga? How do we practice and teach in ways that respect and recognise each individual as the unique expression of life that they are? What are the practical tools that can help us feel our own intrinsic joy, freedom, and authority, and share this?

Investigate these questions together with a collective holding decades of experience of practice and of helping people find the right yoga for them. In the exquisite surroundings of Ubud, Bali, we will explore how Yoga is not just a physical workout, a collection of information, or a "spiritual" workout towards a future, better version of ourselves—rather, it is each person's direct participation in the nurturing force of reality, as it is appearing as you and everything else.

This training is not in any particular "style" of Yoga: it is the essential principles of body and breath, quite precise, as brought forth from the Indian tradition by the "teacher of the teachers," Tirumalai Krishnamacharya, and made uniquely relevant to us as modern people. You will therefore be able to apply these principles to any style or level of Yoga you wish to practice or teach, to make all Yoga individualized, effective, enjoyable, and safe. All bodies and backgrounds are welcome. We could call it “Advanced Yoga for Perfect Beginners.” Everyone’s practice will look different because we are all different.

You can expect to receive yoga instruction that grounds your practice in interoception, feeling the body from the inside out, yoga as whole-body prayer to Life, yoga as spiritual practice, yoga as profound internal reverie. Not yoga as exercise.

If you have questions and would like to converse with a real human who will actually be there, send a message on whatsapp to Rosalind at +64 27 715 9538.

The Power of Breath with Gabriel Sol

The Power of Breath with Gabriel Sol

Vedic Breathing Workshop

Develop more Life Force and Wellbeing through breathing well.
Utilising the ancient wisdom and science of Tantrik and Yogic breathwork - Pranayama.
When we understand that everything is energy transforming then we can realise that all the energy that humans and other animals absorb, such as sunlight, food, water and oxygen are just different manifesting forms of the same source Prana (universal consciousness or life force). Then we begin to understand the power of breath - what the Yogis called 'Pranayama' - breath control.

Many people are now realising the power available from controlling and maximising our breathing (respiration). We are seeing many new breathwork systems being promoted.
The Tantriks and Yogis developed a sophisticated science of Pranayama over 2,000 years ago and practitioners have spent lifetimes developing and applying these systems.

About Gabriel Sol
Gabriel Sol is a qualified teacher in this Traditional ‘Kaula’ Tantric system of Yoga, training in one of the last remaining traditional Kaula Tantra schools in India, where he was initiated in a traditional environment. During this time he qualified as a Kaula Tantra Yoga Teacher.

Gabriel has also completed intensive training with a second Tantra lineage - Mahasiddha Yoga (Rishikesh, India). He has been teaching this Kaula Tantra system for the last 7 years while continuing his study and practice of classical Tantra through multiple teachers and scholars.

Gabriel has undertaken comprehensive training in the Daoist 5 element system and also teaches a therapeutic & yogic system created by Gwyn Williams - Zenthai Shiatsu and Zenthai Flow Yoga. His Daoist studies and practice with Gwyn Williams and Master Mantak Chia have complimented his Tantric journey and transformed his awareness of the human subtle-energy body.

Gabriel has also practised a range of modern yoga systems over the last 15 years, completing a modern Hatha Teacher Training with the Himalayan Yoga Institute (Rishikesh, India) and has over 700 hours of Yoga Alliance teacher training accreditation. His journey into somatic and healing practices include Zen Thai Shiatsu, 5 Rhythm Dance Therapy, Brazilian Capoeira, Korean Tae Kwon Do & Energy Healing from various Japanese lineages.

Gabriel has been studying the nature of our existence for many years, particularly buddhism and shinto. He also holds a Masters degree, focusing on common global values that have been expanding human ethics and consciousness.

Gabriel’s Kaula Tantra teacher, Bhagavan Shanmukha Anantha Natha, uniquely received his knowledge of Tantra yoga from two complimentary streams of Tantra. He was immersed in Tantric science by his grandparents who were right-hand Tantrics (Dakṣiṇa Marga) & was also an initiated student of a traditional lefthand tantric (Vāma Marga) ācārya.

The ancient wisdom of Patañjali | The Yoga Sūtras

The Yoga Sūtras of Patañjali is regarded as one of the most authoritative texts on yoga and is said to date back more than 2000 years. The sacred text is a guide to a spiritual journey, giving us information and instruction for freeing ourselves from perceptions and thoughts that cause us to feel separate from that which we are not. Using it as a practical road map to remove the separateness one experiences so that we, the practitioner, can begin to experience a stronger connection with ourselves, each other and all of nature.

On the last weekend of November, for 3 hrs Dan will be sharing some of the teachings of Patañjali helping practitioners learn more about these ancient teachings and how they can be translated and used for our modern time.
